Hear My Voice
The Whisper in Thine Ear
Jesus said forty generations later:
No man hears me except he hears me inside. You must traverse the territory that on which Eve stood. You cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven inside yourself without passing through this ground. You may be separated from the fall by the holy wine, but you may not be separated from the voice of Fallen[i] Lucifer’s[ii] word. The voice of the holy wine touches the world through you. Show me the work of the holy wine in your life.
Except you listen not to the loud sound of words, but rather the whisper of the voice until you hear and become one with that voice.
While He lived on earth He said:
Blessed are they that are persecuted for righteousness, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.
We are all too often scrambled by the day’s activities. The question put to us may be: Have we progressed our spiritual lives in the day, or have we been distracted by the activities of the day? Have you been persecuted for standing up for what’s right? Did it jolt you?
Each day there is a communication given to us but we’re not accustomed to listening to our souls. And yet it is the soul/spirit that senses what is right.
Through life many of us rely on the rational, the logical, and what society says to guide us. Clinging to the rational and logical deafens the intuitive, the prayerful, and the reflective. At any time, one may be pulled off the path of righteousness giving into fear and insecurity when seriously challenged. Listening requires stillness internally. It means not letting the usual distractions block out the message of the voice that’s trying to reach you.
Jesus said while on earth, “My sheep Hear My Voice.” Of course, human beings aren’t sheep. But just as sheep recognize the voice of the shepherd, we need to recognize the voice of true guidance. In tough times, when we’re challenged by life (in whatever form – personal relationships, job, health, etc.), we need to hear. Listening requires practice.
Jesus said forty generations later,
The voice of the holy wine reaches you, consoles you through forgiveness. It then reaches back and gives hope to your ancestors, then speaks forward through your new life to you and those who meet you.
The holy wine is communion. Communion isn’t limited to the sacrament administered in church. Communion is a time when we accept and become part of the heart and belief of what the symbol represents. It is a moment that is sacred. It is the time of entering into the depth and essence of faith. Perhaps at your communion (through whatever symbol was used), you heard or intuited a voice speaking, telling you something special or sacred. Your communion may have even been through a life experience or a book you read. Somehow, somewhere, something or someone communicated to you. Hear My Voice is the voice of true love, towards all goodness, echoing in your ear.
As it relates to Jesus, representing his Holy Being, the communion through the holy wine in the New Testament Era can have a profound effect on life. Through the sacrament of the wine, the communion you are receiving is the essence of Jesus’ being into your own and the forgiveness of sins[iii].
Different faiths use different symbols to represent healing and passage. Family Federation for World Peace and Unification, founded by Reverend Sun Myung Moon, uses it as a rededication to marriage and forgiveness of the past. In the Jewish faith, it is a drink of celebration. For Jesus at the last supper, it was twofold. First as part of the Passover meal and secondly to represent his life force as understood in Aramaic.
When Jesus said, “take this and drink” at His last supper, the Aramaic would be rendered: Enter into the depth of the foundation, be transformed, and changed. The holy wine speaks to your ancestors and your future also. Have faith in your forgiveness otherwise the impact will be diminished by your lack of faith and the wayward mind will rise again.
Voices communicate in different ways. We are not referring to the voices people hear telling them to commit crimes or evil deeds. Our conscience can respond to any number of prods, to things that jolt our better sense, that awaken us to new sight when we finally say, “I see.” In this sense to hear My Voice is to reawaken the higher mind; the part of us that directs us to goodness.
In life there are times when the suffering is so intense that the process of the Four Seasons of Faith seems too long. “Here I am in hell, and I have to wait until my winter is complete to be resurrected?” Perhaps sometimes, but not always. We can turn around quickly if we hear the Voice and respond to it.
It’s not a communication with halos and rainbows. There probably won’t be a burning bush or a transfiguration, but you will be spoken to. This may be as simple as remembering the clearest or soundest spiritual condition you were ever in. In that moment, your memory is your communication. The communication will expand and make sense to you. In the Star of Bethlehem, it is a flicker of light.
Jesus said, “My sheep hear My Voice and I know them, and they follow me. He also said, I am the good Shepard. I know my own and my own know me.”
Often in life we hear and then forget. We are often in the cross winds of many communications.
Trust can be an issue with hearing. Can you trust what you hear inside your soul? Doubt is surely to surface. Sometimes we need to be prayerful about what we are hearing. In my experience, by giving some time to the message allows us to distill the essence of it. Counter wise, if you wait too long, you will be prone to forgetting the message itself or at the very least, remembering it in a distorted way.
The Beatitude states that we are blessed for being persecuted. That could arrive in many ways. In the end we have to make a choice: To cave in during the storm in which the roar is so loud amidst the turbulence or we can seek out to hear the voice of the good Shepard calling.
The Voice of true guidance will come to you. Listen and be still. Hear the Voice of holy wine speaking to you.

[i] The impression isn’t the literal definition of “fallen” as having dropped down. It is a reference to a breach in our growth process, so a misdirection of the mind occurs.
[ii] The fallen archangel is not necessarily a spiritual entity. It may be the slope of self-deception or being fooled by cleaver words leading to one’s downfall.
[iii] The word sin, in Aramaic means to miss the mark; figuratively entangled in webs like a thread.
