Seeing Others Rightfully

Seeing Others Rightfully
To see implies that we can see. For what does it mean to see? Even though you see, you may not have insight and in this, you misjudge others as well as yourself. We must become clear, as with pure water, to see things in their true form.

Each of us needs a pattern. The value of this is in the learning and opening the girth to inheritance. What are you inheriting? The pattern inside yourself, which acts to better integrate you into the world as it is, without losing your sense of true self.

In the course of time, our nature takes the shape and form of the standard of the culture we are in. The exception to this rule is twofold. One: the person has developed a standard of values based on truth learned which transcends the time period. Two: the person has been seriously inspired by God and has been able to break away from the cultural trends.

In this context, each one of us must reflect internally as to what forces are at work influencing our development and thus our life course. I call it a force because of the grip it has on life. We are like water that takes the shape and form of the container to which it flows. Internally we take the shape of the container (cultural values, standards & morals) in which we live. In order to see others rightfully, your spirit should take the shape of the container of pure true love.

You should always seek to know yourself and from this you can be clear about your dealings with others. Do not try to size up other people for you have enough work to do with yourself, let alone to judge others. Therefore, seek the potential in others and you will find the potential in yourself. If you seek to find fault in another, and this is your way, then you will fault yourself. Your life does not develop in this course. You cannot go through life as a critic and find God. The world turns grey and dark, even if you should be in the sunshine. Your eyes darken and the soul dies. But rather, develop the brilliance inside of you by seeking to bring out the good in others. This is my teaching. That you see in others what you should see in yourself, not that what you see is the fallen[i] mind of the person. There are times when you see the fallen nature of a person because it resides so much in yourself, and it may be coming from yourself as well as in the other person.

Therefore, I say, see in others WHAT you SHOULD SEE IN YOURSELF. Of course, you want to see goodness in yourself. It's only natural that you should feel self-value.  So, don't you think that others want to feel the same? They do. Hence, you should try to help people find their self-respect, their sense of value, what is good about them, not only focusing on judgment. The words defining their goodness will draw out a measure of judgment within themselves. I tell you that often in speaking and treating a person well, will move the Original Mind of that person. Remember, the value we speak of is the "Principled"[ii] standard of value, not the fallen world's standard.

It is sin[iii] that causes you to lose your sight. To sin is to act in a way which creates the motivation and process leading to the fall. The fallen act itself is sin and I further say do not even think about it. Let your mind be the soil of healthful thoughts. Let your hearts be clean and simple. When your heart is clean, then you can wash and purify the environment around you. Those who are in your presence will feel the cleansing of themselves by what comes forth from you.

The current runs deep in what appears to be stilled water. In this depth of your soul, you can see but you are not seen. In not being seen, when you speak, your words are as a treasure. It is in the depth of silence, that you keep the sanctity of the word. For this reason, you have heard it taught, that you should not throw pearls before the depraved. Keep yourselves centered and understand the value of the truth. Please know the sacredness of the words you speak.

The tree is known by its fruit, as you have heard. Let that fruit be the labor of God manifested in your lives. Therefore, see from the deep center of true heart. Be pure in heart, and in this you can see others in their reality.

Do not be quick to seeing as to satisfy your self-centered nature, the end of which is your indulgence in your false pride. But rather, see yourself in honesty, without a mask of pretense and you will see clearly enough to see the way of the will for the one you are to love.

Now in closing, I say to all of you, see yourself with honesty, confess up to yourself, live in repentance, and in alignment with the Principle[iv] and then you can truly see others rightfully, this is My teaching, 40 Generations Later.

ENDNOTES:
[i] The impression isn’t the literal definition of “fallen” as having dropped down. It is a reference to a breach in our growth process, so a misdirection of the mind occurs.
[ii] According to Universal Divine Truth
[iii] To miss the mark in Aramaic
[iv] Divine Principle meaning not only the specific translation of Wolli Kangron but an eternal truth already existing in the universe before books were written
